Gorgeous evergreen trees with divinely fragrant flowers. Late blooming makes for reliable fruit set. Easy to grow and rarely bothered by pest and disease. Trees need sunny warm location with good drainage. In colder climates, can be grown in containers and brought into the house or green house when needed. For milder climates, planting on south side of house or wall can give additional protection. Row covers and Christmas tree lights are commonly used to protect plants when hard freezes threaten. Our trees are grafted on the deciduous semi-dwarfing Trifoliate Orange Rootstock for added cold hardiness. Generally grows to 8 to 15 ft depending on the vigor of the variety. Zones 9-11. Self fertile.
