Native to the West Coast from Northern California to Alaska, this beautiful trailing evergreen ground cover has abundant bell shaped pinkish white flowers in the spring followed by bright red berries in the fall. Berries were a traditional native food, and are relished by wildlife. (also known as Bearberry). Small oval shaped glossy green leaves were also valued by Native Americans for smoking mixtures. Zones 4-10
