Cranberry plants make a beautiful evergreen groundcover 10-12" tall. Though commercially grown in bogs they can do very well on upland soils, as long as they have plenty of organic matter, acidic soil and are kept moist. Spreading plants have fine red tinged foliage and are very showy with pink blooms in the spring and red berries in the fall. Fruits are high in Vitamins.
Very large fruit, some can be as big as a nickel with a beautiful bright purplish-red skin. Highly productive and easy to pick, they ripen later than most varieties and have good keeping quality. Attractive and vigorous plants make a nice bushy ground cov
