Very productive and precocious annually bearing summer apple. Red blush over gold skinned fruit has crunchy,  juicy and somewhat acid high quality flesh. The  earliest to ripen quality apple we grow. Vigorous tree is an offspring of McIntosh, which the fruit resembles. Said to be a good pollinator for Gravenstein. Not as scab resistant as Wynootchee Early, so fruit can have some blemishes in a wet spring. Reliability, quality and earliness of ripening still make it a very worthwhile apple to grow.
