Distinctive ornamental edible perennial plant has huge crinkled dark green heart shaped leaves and long thick red stalks. The stalks are cooked and used for delicious pies, desserts and sauces. This variety is noted for its tenderness, full rich flavor, heavy yields and excellent red color. Grows about 3 feet tall and up to 5 feet wide. Zones 5-9.
