Very late ripening, at the end of September, it is one of the last stone fruits eaten fresh on our farm every fall. The nectarous, delicious fruits are similar in size and shape to Opal. Old Hungarian variety dating to 1870 given to me by my friend and avid fruit collector Ed Suij.
