Almonds (Prunus dulcis)

Early blooming beautiful ornamental trees, are fast growing, have shiny grey tinged green foliage and upright form. They grow to 15-30ft but can be kept smaller through pruning. The delicious and nutritious nuts are easily harvested and shelled. Almonds adapt to most soils as long as well-drained and produce best where summers are hot long and dry.
