Tropic Gold Apricot

Conventionally Grown

Tropic Gold Apricots (Prunus armeniaca sp.) are medium to large in size with yellow skin becoming orange on the cheek.  These apricots boast firm, juicy, and excellent tasting orange flesh.  This is a good variety for canning and dehydrating.

This self-fertile variety appears to be a good apricot for mild winter areas, fruiting every year in Camarillo, CA when Blenheim does not.  Tropic Golds ripen late June to early July and require 350 hours annual chilling below 45 °F

Cold hardy to USDA Zone 7

Sold as conventional bare root tree with 3/8" caliper
