Wenatchee Moorpark Apricot (Conventional)

Conventionally Grown

Large oval fruit with yellow flash has a good flavor that is excellent for fresh eating, drying, and canning (this is a freestone type!).  Wenatchee Moorpark bears heavy, is self fertile, and is good for climates where spring rains and frost limit apricot production.  This makes it a favorite in Oregon and Washington.

Ripens late June into early July and later in cooler climates.  Requires 700 hours annual chilling below 45 °F.

Cold hardy to USDA Zone 6.
