Emalyn's Purple

A very sweet and complex flavored mid size fig found and named by plant explorer Mike Nave near Sacramento, CA. Thought to be a seedling of Negronne it has a good tangy flavor before full ripeness, turning into a rich extremely sweet fig at full maturity. Does not produce breba figs, instead focusing its energy on the main crop.
