The tasty, blackberry-like fruit is large, black and juicy.  Self Fertile. Ripens: Early summer. Small spreading, long-lived bush or tree.  Semi- dwarf to 10-12 feet high, and can be pruned to a hedge. Some drought tolerance when established.  Requires <200 hours chilling below 45 degrees F. Cold hardy to USDA Zone 7.  Current stock is conventional bare root plant
